I'm really glad my mother died before I got my diagnosis, because the "Oh, so this is another thing you blame me for" dramatics would have been fucking nauseating
I can't think of anything better for a kid than to be told that they are how they are because of a government plot. What a way to convey to a child that their state of being is horrible and wrong.
Thanks for this story. My cousin is a longtime antivaxxer from the LA community, and is now doing some work on the RFKjr campaign as a photographer. Sadly he's convinced family members over the years to believe multiple conspiracies, and I now worry that they'll cast votes for RFKjr.
