I was treated to a performance of David Bowie’s Blackstar by that album’s backing band and the National Orchestra. It’s striking how well these songs adapt to performance. Bowie intended them to score a Broadway show and they gain a sorta power when performed by other artists

My fiancé bought one of those tickets and she loathed the film so much she refused to give the superior sequel or Peacemaker a chance. That movie gave her PTSD. Sometimes a big hit can still kill a franchise
