I applied to some federal government jobs back in January/February and I just now got a notice that they received my application and I would hear whether I’d moved onto the interview stage in a few months.

Menendez’s biggest mistake was not appointing three Supreme Court justices.

Remember, if the government can obtain a conviction against Bob Menendez for taking bribes and stuffing gold bars into his closet that he was given for working on behalf of a foreign government, there's nothing stopping them from indicting you for the same thing.

I agree with you that Joe Biden is the best president for unions in my lifetime if not beyond. What lesson then does this send? That supporting unions will cause a loss in union support at the ballot box? How does that build power? Would any sane politico risk supporting labor after seeing this?

As soon as we learned that Crooks was a registered Republican it was clear that the assassination attempt was going to be a two-day story.

Someone here pointed out that the shooter’s donation to ActBlue happened before he registered as a Republican, and he was wearing a t-shirt from one of those gun nut YouTubers. It seems the story of a quick radicalization but news orgs aren’t following that angle at all.
