To reiterate, the UK has just jailed five climate protesters for *discussing* a climate protest. As I've said elsewhere, this isn't just a victory for the fossil fuel industries, but for the most extreme authoritarianism.

I’ve said this of DC and their movies but: Disney doesn’t know why it’s doing what it’s doing with its franchises. It’s just trying to commercialize an asset. They need a through line and someone charged with the authority to develop the long-term vision to come up with one.

the vast majority of these critics weren't mad because outlets criticized Biden age, they're mad because the number of "Biden is old" stories out-ratio'd stories about real policy or the looming threat of fascism by like a factor of like forty to one
