Personally I prefer the socks to bunch like leg warmers at the ankle, providing a smooth transition from lower leg to shoe.

Yesterday I saw an ad that said "radio for sale, $1, volume stuck on full" I thought, "I can't turn that down".

Last night in PDX (Eliot n'b'hood) I heard only one or two fireworks, and I'd like to thank the local government for finally getting off the dime and acting serious about the fireworks ban.
