I remember abstinence classes in school, exercises involving applying and reapplying Scotch tape (the “bond” of extramarital sex) and another one involving chewed up chips (exchanging body fluids. That was in middle school!)

I had been abused by my father when I was young. In my preteens I suffered pretty hard from depression. I’d even gone so far as to plan my suicide, my younger brother swears up and down that he found a letter in my room one day but I have no memory of it. Therapy has helped me so much.
Reskeet if you've ever:
- self-harmed
- attempted suicide
- been to a therapist
- cancelled on things because you don't have the energy to live
- lied about being okay
- had a panic attack in a public bathroom
the world needs to know how common these things are.

Filed to have my father’s last name removed from my full legal name. My father abused my as a kid, told his friends that my mom “brainwashed” me. Judge ruled in my favor, new birth certificate came last month and applied for a new driver’s license last Thursday. Feels like a new chapter.
