And yet, Trump said they have the right people in place to overturn the election. Pretty sure the Supreme Court will side with them. The election might not actually matter the way Trump has brazenly said I don’t need your vote.

Not going to tell people to put their faith in courts right now, but as the GOP found out last cycle overturning an election result is really hard. If that's their gambit, then you make them try it and suffer the consequnces.
They really don't, though, unless we get into some kind of Bush v. Gore situation where the election truly does come down to a few hundred votes in one state. The electoral certification process in the swing states is almost entirely run by Democrats.
You need to enlighten me. I understand what's happening in Georgia with its election laws, but I'm not really counting Georgia as a needed swing state. This will all come down to Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The effort that the media puts into running down Biden and normalizing Trmp is scary. What's really insane is that Trmp is only 3 years younger than Biden, and his unhealthy lifestyle and word salad speech more than make up for angry advantage those 3 years might otherwise give him.
Yet the media totally ignores this and even presents Trmp as the stronger and fitter because he was allowed to steamroll/Gish gallop Biden at the debate and Biden having a cold somehow is a sign of weakness and more important.
i'm getting so, so tired of the doomerism on here, and the press loves covering shit like a horse race instead of explaining fundamentals and what's at play, a job that seems to fall to @golikehellmachine.com on here.

The good news this time (thanks to key secretary of state wins in 2022 and Judge Janet's win in 2023) is that Democrats control the certification apparatus and/or the courts in the relevant swing states. That will make it much more difficult for Republicans to succeed in coup attempt #2.
