Not all bats live in colonies! Eastern red bats are a solitary, migratory bat that lives in trees. They often snuggle down into leaf litter to keep warm, which makes them vulnerable to being grabbed by dogs or cats. That's what landed this young one in rehab with us.

I remember the first time I watched that movie my immediate reaction was to eat an 1/8 of mushrooms and watch it again.

Tonight I’m gonna watch Upstream Color and get Subway delivered.

I just picked up my cat to give him some pets and he spent a full five minutes aggressively grooming my beard with his little sandpaper tongue. Normally when I pick him up he just squirms and yells.

My grandmother in southern Maine reached out to ask if I was in the hurricane path. Which forced me to look at the weather and it looks like we are getting hit by a hurricane tomorrow? That’ll be fun. I had been too self absorbed with being sick to even pay attention to the weather 😷
