This is my favorite part of the New York Times editorial demanding that Biden drop out.
Yeah, just “create a process to select someone more capable.”
No biggie! Just create a process! How hard can that be?
Not that the press hasn't been endlessly debasing themselves for the last four years, but it is incredible that many of us went through university being graded harshly, only for the world's most professional writers to go "1) get rid of biden 2) ??? 3) profit" and hit send.
Put together a steering committee, have it meet daily in a war room to create a process, then have the process approved on all applicable levels, then create a plan for implementing the process, then implement the process to select someone more capable. By April or May next year it'll be done, ezpz
Today I saw someone I was following (someone who I thought was a serious person and has some reach) suggest Taylor Swift... He is trying to influence ppl to support a change in candidates saying "we can't afford to lose" not realizing the impact he is having. SMH.
We already had that process. It's called "the primary". Democrats selected Biden. If you didn't like Biden, they should have come up with another candidate a year ago.
Question: if Biden drops out of the race, what happens to his war chest? Can it be transferred to Harris or to another candidate? Or does the money just disappear and the new candidate has to start from scratch?
Ooh I know, Jill Stein can help.
Did the fish wrap times do a story about President Biden’s NC rally the day after the debate? They talk about Biden but I’m sorry I haven’t seen a single goddamned reporter hold trumps feet to the fire in an interview, or call for him to get da fuque out of the race
Dems have had 16 years (they should have started figuring out Obama’s successor when he won) to find a candidate that literally anyone likes, and have never even come close. It doesn’t help that they put all of their 2016 energy into stopping the candidate people liked, of course.
