It's people like this we can thank for when you see an absurdly shitty anime. "This one is about magic robot chinchillas that can turn into humans, but only if they find a human they love & they have to be-" *GUNSHOT

you know, I had that exact thought watching that film in the theater at like 13 years old. "man, I thought Yoda was supposed to be super perceptive"

Been saying for years that there's a reason they keep losing folks to the dark side when their way of dealing with emotions is "pretend you don't have them."
Avatar
Yoda's judgment is clouded by the dark side because he's allowed his attachments and fears lead him straight into doing an evil war. My head canon will always be the dark side clouding their foresight is their own evil acts.

This is an incredible post. I can’t believe it isn’t parody.

It's not stupid, I wouldn't hate LinkedIn if there was more like this.

*quickly scribbling a manifesto about how Plo Koon's manifesto of unflappability shows how product managers should engage with their EMs*

“Maximize profits for the shareholders you did not.”

Canonically he was the CTO, embarrassing that they don’t know this

Failed as CEO, he did. Reasons four there are.
Avatar
He's not a CEO, he's a religious figure who was the "pope" of his religion for awhile.
Avatar
I hope one of the reasons is “talking like a dingus”

"Failed to leverage my core competencies, I have."

one key failure - he adopted WFH. How can you expect to lead a company from a swamp planet without decent internet?
Avatar
Seriously though, one of the minor reasons I disliked the 1-3 is how badly the jedis managed everything.
Avatar
Reason 1: he wasn't a CEO. Hard to fail as a CEO any harder than that.
Avatar
CEO? He was more like a CFO, by which I mean Chief Force Officer.
Avatar
I mean they’re right. he never knew he was a CEO, never acted in the capacity of a CEO in any way and likely had no idea what a CEO even was. i’d say that’s a pretty huge failing for a CEO like him
Avatar
I mean, is it wrong?

Reason #3 will make you drop your phone.

This is the summary of Yoda's legacy I have been waiting for.

“Under projections, this quarterly performance is. Forgo annual pay rises, you shall.”

Remind me not to have my magic powers weakened by a secret evil wizard if I ever become a CEO
Avatar
Yoda was always better at being head of HR anyway.
