“They want to eliminate national parks” is a very simple way to get just about anyone on the Stop Project 2025 train. Are there much more glaring and life-threatening goals of P25? Yes but even your most bigoted cousin does not want to see the parks system sold for parts.

This!! Start with “they want to end no fault divorce, sell national parks, and ban porn” end with tax structure.

Again, none of this is to say American capitalism is awesome for working people, it manifestly is not! But we’re talking about change vs constants. And the *trends* have been more money in the pockets of lower wage earners, in real terms, over the past two years.

This entire story is a perfect example of how economic reporting has missed the story. They interview one (1) working class woman who has been legitimately screwed by her employer ($1/hr raise in 5 years) and then note that wages for working people in the aggregate have outpaced inflation!

It’s unsustainable. Ukraine’s drone attacks on Russian oil facilities have also been economically devastating. Russia can’t carry on like this which is why Putin is shifting focus to get puppets elected in western democracies so they can push for a peace deal that will save Russia. 2/2

Info I hear from France suggests results may be very surprising. I had to double check I was reading right. Now appears to be confirmed by *EARLY EXITS* in Swiss media: RN weaker than expected. Fight for first between left & Macronists, though RN possible still in right for low plurality.
