As a Clevelander, the Rock Hall is a joke. They excluded Dio from the Black Sabbath induction and still haven't inducted a slew of foundational rock and metal acts. It's all a popularity contest voted on by people who don't know anything about the genre.

I have loved Cyndi Lauper ever since I first saw her video for Goonies R Good Enough. It's nice to know that, of all my childhood idols, at least one has never let me down.

Kinky Boots is also a fun, great musical, that I think won her a Tony, maybe, that I'd recommend if you get the chance to see it!
I don't recommend Kinky Boots without HUGE content warnings because the protagonist is a straight white guy who says really horrible stuff to a Black drag queen and gets forgiven without really making amends.
