I’m just saying the idea that rich people “orchestrated” his win in 2020 is false and forcing him out based on polls after being elected by voters is obviously more undemocratic.
I was unhappy when the other candidates dropped out and he started getting >50% of the primary vote, but they dropped out because they got their asses kicked as soon as they reached a state with a substantial number black voters.

Politico: Nancy Pelosi voiced support for an open nomination process if Joe Biden drops out of the race.

Multiple leading Democrats tell CNN they feel caught in what one described as a “doom loop,” with every move to keep President Joe Biden in or push him out further destroying their chances against Donald Trump.
Okay, wait: Trump just praised a nominee for U.S. Senate who, in his words, “paid the ultimate price” — but if he’d paid the _ultimate_ price, he … er, couldn’t be running, right?
If big donors get this proof of concept to work, if they are able to boot the sitting president from running for reelection by holding back money, there’s lots of stuff the wealthy would prefer a president not do besides “be old,” and they’ll fucking try it next time.
