I grew up in Bergen county, nj and Sundays were blue or something. Cheap meat at grocery was the only thing you could purchase. Not even alcohol to wash it down 😠 All the best people.

Trouble is that the Sabbath is Saturday. Sunday is the Lord's Day. Christians dropped the Sabbath requirement when they got away from the law of the OT. Jews still recognize the Sabbath. I think it starts Friday evening. Correct me if I'm wrong.
