A reminder that in order to win in 2024 Trump needs to win EVERY toss up state: FL, GA, NV, & AZ (3 states he lost last time) - as well as wrestle 1 of 5 states from Biden: MI, WI, PA, NH, & VA (3 states that turned against him pre-insurrection and 2 that have NEVER voted for him.) Nearly impossible

Has anyone written SF where humans find out they’re the wimpiest species in the known universe? Just “Oh, yeah, you’re like children to us, and not only technologically! One of my immature fry could easily devour your ‘SEAL Team Six’ without any weapons. Don’t feel sad!”

If one accepts the Christian premises that (1) we are all meaningful entities and (2) God moves in mysterious ways, the thought occurs that the most important thing I might do—my divine role—might be all the blood I’ve donated, and the writing/parenting/etc. is really just frosting on the cupcake.

10000% the real miss is all the art we're never going to get from women who were abused right out of their craft. so many of those women won't even create for themselves anymore.

Hot take: I'm truly not interested in hand wringing over how much people will miss enjoying the books of men who have turned out to be abusers. I'm far more concerned about the missing art that women haven't been able to create/publish because they crossed paths with such men.
