The Times dings Biden for (it assumes) failing to "quel the concerns" of Republicans "who have made questioning Mr. Biden’s competency a centerpiece of their 2024 strategy."
CNN did the exact same thing a few weeks ago when talking about Trump being prosecuted. It’s like saying that putting up a fence in the monkey enclosure in the zoo is unlikely to quell the urge for monkeys to keep flinging shit at passers-by and that it’s therefore the zoo’s fault.
Well, they did the massive property record research on trumps properties in NYC, a huge story that helped trigger the case that New York Attorney General, Latisha James, just won against trump putting him on the spot for about $450 million (approx). So, it’s a mixed bag my friend. They do some good.
The NYT desperately wants to launder "concerns" about Biden's age & competency. When really the concern is that he is far too competent at doing the wrong thing (for progressives: Gaza, criminal justice reform, immigration; for conservatives: anything good he's done)
Ever since Rupert Murdoch took over the @nytimes.com the paper has become a rag I wouldn’t wipe my ass with… huh? He didn’t? You mean the Times sucks like it does all by themselves?? Oh.

The only thing that Republicans are concerned about is that Old Man Joe might end up beating Grandpa Capslock so badly that their party won't be a national contender for a generation. Then again, he does have a black VP so we're probably fucked.
It's not dumb it's cruel. The millionaires at the top of media want to hurt people. Sure it helps them do it to seem be stupid in the ways that it's deniable, but it's because Schulzberger is a nepo baby; rich people grow up around their intellectual and moral betters; now he gets to offend them.

New York Times is throwing its credibility away with a speed not seen since Trump vouched for steaks.
The Times is hewing to the right which is older and still buys papers. For the next few weeks everyone will be rethinking their strategy which just got blown up.
I hate the NYT with the passion of a thousand suns. I hate them more than I hate trump or the maga leaders (maybe not Stephen Miller though) . And if the magas get into power watch how fast the times pivots to ‘we had no idea it would be this bad’. Fuck them all.
