This isn’t a secret but it also hasn’t gotten much attention: Bluesky outsources moderation to an AI-first third party content moderation company that has little to no interaction with civil society.

Bluesky isn’t unique in this practice and this isn’t a callout so much as me expressing concern for what’s quickly becoming the status quo. Going to write something soon.

The Leader Is Good

I followed thousands and had 75,000 followers before the takeover. I was verified though so I had more granular options for what I could see. Now my feed is injected with trash even when i only look at follows.

I own a soprano and a tenor and they are both great. I played them the other night (on a work call, the other person is like: "it looks like you're in a soundproof room?" "yes yes I scheduled a call during my practice time")

Correct. And also the current US imagination of "religious freedom" is absurd. Religious freedom is and should be limited to the freedom to choose your religion and practice it without interference. Liberals fail to address this misunderstanding repeatedly.

The thing that's obvious to everyone and that nobody can actually write in the press is that the American (and yes, I'm sure elsewhere too) right wing is led by bad people and the object is to make more people extremely bad in basically every respect. It's anti-society

They would definitely end up with hostile news coverage just one state north in New Hampshire. NH incidentally has had an increase in abortion providers since Roe v. Wade AND an increase in these fake centers.
