In my experience as a queer Black woman with a delightfully meddlesome presence in publishing: stepping over the bodies of institutions that don't serve you and busying yourself creating something new and purposeful has been 1k% more effective than shouting at internet randos if change is the goal

I was eliminated this morning after finally seeing a cyber truck in the wild for the 1st time. Good luck to those still playing. I did yell “FUCK” in the car once I realized what I was seeing. Everyone who says they look worse in person is correct. Something about the proportions is Not Right.

I think as a rule that when the issue is the Institution, it may be both more effective and less shitty if an aggrieved audience applied sustained pressure to the owners/masters/authorities of those institutions instead of the most accessible/also marginalized cog they can find.
