Parts of the Biden administration’s healthcare nondiscrimination rule went into effect today, but three federal judges — all GOP appointees — issued injunctions against aspects of it, including a Mississippi judge who issued a nationwide injunction blocking the rule’s gender identity protections.

I knew that's exactly how the Supreme Court's ruling would work. The exemption applies only to Republicans, not Democrats.

Just over 600 words written tonight for the short story I'm adding to the novel manuscript. I'm almost to the end and it looks like the short story's going to be about 8k words -- up from the first draft of 6k. Once I add it to the novel, the manuscript will be around 62k words total. #amwriting 1/2
