Was on a plane with this massive old dude in a window seat whose demeanor screamed military. After takeoff the biggest, fluffiest orange cat I've ever seen jumped up and settled in the aisle seat across from me. Old dude loudly & proudly proclaimed "Name's Patton". Patton was a very awesome cat.

This is the endgame of Rove's reworking of the Exec branch to be more powerful than the other two, and to use exec privilege to sidestep Congress. Every prez since then has continued this, and now the far right/white nationalist Christians have completed what he started.

In the past 48 hours two of my fav Boston restaurant/pubs have burned: the Squealing Pig (delightfully lethal martinis), hangout of my Harvard Med library crew and Jacob Wirths, an old ass beer hall that had excellent food, great German wines and drunken sing alongs. Boo! Hiss! Wtf Boston.

I got sent to Catholic high school. They shipped us and our all-male counterpart school to DC every year for the anti-abortion march. 90% of them are now MAGA prosperity Catholics who never left Ohio except to go to college and then return.
