Senate Dems should take one of their assorted gun control bills off the shelf, rename it something like "Trump Assassination Prevention Act," and force Rs to do a talking filibuster to block it

Today, the chimney is getting a liner. Had the sweep out last month for the annual end-of-season cleaning/inspection, found some *major* cracks. Apparently lucky to not have burned the place down 😬

I'm not an unqualified cheerleader for the FDA but if you allow the big food/grocery cartels to self-regulate then it's only a matter of time before there's a *massive* lethal food poisoning event.

When people see a story like this, they understandably tend to think there must be more to it. Someone must be exaggerating. But Missouri's attorney general and its courts really are trying to execute a man they all know is innocent. That's the whole story. www.kansascity.com/opinion/read...

His expedition in 1890's to Hell Creek formation in Montana produced so many fossils it filled train cars. Very little was documented, and overburden rock was removed with dynamite and horse-carts 😬. In 1902, they uncovered the 1st documented fossil Tyrannosaurus rex.

#Brains in children make more than a million connections each second. They are vaguely aware of everything all at once. However, adults have the ability to focus and concentrate. The difference is like a lantern vs a flashlight. It is believed this lantern elasticity contributes to creativity.

Around 1870, these lovely glass bottles started being sold for a very specific purpose. These are GLASS FIRE EXTINGUISHER GRENADES. The first generation were filled with saltwater, or ammonium chloride which, when it decomposes, produces gases that inhibit fire. (📷: Antique Bottle Depot)

🚨 Don't eat uncooked snake! Your eyes & lungs can be parasitized by pentastomids, which are a CRUSTACEAN. Adults lack so many features that they weren't believed to be arthropods at all until their DNA was sequenced (and sperm morphology, but that was not widely accepted). Yet, they are! #Crustmas 🧪
