The older I get the more I feel like striving to be a good and kind person is an act of rebellion in a hateful world.

I need some audiobook recs with a few restrictions: -No romance, self-help, horror, true crime, fantasy -Somewhat light, as far as storyline. I listen while working on art stuff & my focus isn't always 100%. -My fave audiobooks are the Wicked series, the Expanse series, Bill Bryson books.

Sitting quietly in the living room working on a project and Pepp came barreling in at 1,000mph, dragging the mop with her. It's been over a month now since Black Cat died and it's clear she needs another cat in this house. She's getting squirrelier and I didn't think that was possible.
