imaging in chameleons, and I need you to know that this was Figure 1.

On the up side, that's not an MRI scanner. On the downside, you've got a non contrast CT scan of side-by-side hamsters.
Hope they’re labeled/positioned appropriately.
Nightmare. Do you arbitrarily call them hamster A / hamster B? Can you even add that in post processing? Or does the radiologist have to refer to the right and left hand hamster the whole way through the report?
Never read a dual hamster study. Closest thing would be high risk OB ultrasound where you’re doing serial exams on twins/triplets/etc. You have to depend on your sonographer to not only label them correctly but do their best to follow the same convention on followup. 😵💫

I'm gonna be "that gal" and point out that this is a CT scanner. So it's going to be nowhere near as loud or take anywhere near as long.

That's a CT scanner, not an MRI scanner.

I wonder why they are doing it. That's a pretty traumatic experience.
I would assume because the little guys have something wrong with them.
The optimist in me hopes they are pets who have owners that care enough about them to get a CT scan when they're ill.
The cynic in me thinks they might well be research subjects.
I love those little things. Their hands are so cute. I wish they lived longer. 😢
