The tl;dr This is union-busting, written as a statute. A company union is not a union, it is a way for management to dilute/interfere with the power of the union. Company unions have been unlawful since 1935, because everyone recognizes it is an attempt to union bust. This is trying to undo that.

Oh dear, surely this is entirely unrelated to the fact that cops are statistically likely to be domestic abusers by measures, while employed by the state violently executing authoritarianism.

The reason that the language of domestic abuse and the language of authoritarianism looks the same is because it's just the same thing on a different scale.

Libraries are a vital support. One of the best existing ones society has that's publicly funded. They do way much more for community than books. Libraries support me a lot by buying my book for folks to read. Readers of library books can spread word of mouth to buyers. @prisonculture.bsky.social
