If any of your contacts have opted into letting people see their phone number, you can still see the phone number for that contact. It’s opt-in by default though (which is sensible honestly) and I’m not sure how many people even know that option is there, so most people haven’t done that

This is very silly, but I had been using Signal as my contacts app for years and now that you can’t get people’s phone numbers or usernames out of Signal anymore, I have no one’s contact info anymore. If it makes sense for me to have yours, please send it to me again. Thank you!

Literally I was trying, hence the thing about the shade tents

literally everybody was like “Ian, WTF? You’re always the person who harasses everyone else about wearing sunscreen” and that’s true and I had put it on 3 TIMES, so here’s some things I learned: - not all shade tents block UV - if it’s raining on and off, it will wash your sunscreen off every time

a week after getting the worst sunburn I’ve ever gotten in my entire life, it’s peeling and blistering and it’s nasty as fuck. my skin will go back to normal, right? right?

I have two different air quality monitors now (QingPing for home, Aranet for the road) and the CO2 readings tend to diverge, sometimes a lot. Why… is this, as in technical details? @astrokatie.com @kateviolette.com this seems like the kind of thing you might know

possibly relevant note: the QingPing has never been calibrated manually and I may or may not have done that with the Aranet at some point a long time ago
