There are a lot of reasons to dislike Joe Biden based on policy, I have plenty, but the fact that he loves his messy, drug-addict failing isn't one of them and Republican attacks on him over it are just absolutely feral.
Looking forward to our shittastic national press completely failing to lay out the significance of the difference in Biden's statement vs. Trump and his supporters' response to the 34 guilty verdicts.
They'll pivot right back to "here's why Biden should drop out" in no time.
Yup. And the political problem for the GOP is this is unspinnable. I mean probably the only thing that polls better than "I love my kids" is "I'll accept the outcome of a just trial". They also stand in stark contrast to Trump's behavior on both topics.
Very fun seeing my family be so incredibly shitty about this when my cousin has drug problems and has been in and out of jail and basically abandoned his child due to said problems.
Even seeing it in their own family cannot engender a crumb of sympathy or empathy.
This has been a tremendous opportunity to display normal human compassion for Biden and he has risen to the occasion every time.
If only he wasn't also standing with an ongoing genocide of Palestinians on behalf of a crime minister in Israel.
