Ugh so someone attempted to steal my e-bike while we were at the beach today. Fortunately they did not succeed. But in the process they dinged up the exterior of the battery pretty badly. Can any e-bike folks tell me: is this safe to keep using or does it need to be replaced immediately?

Bought myself a book I’ve been wanting for my birthday — Christian Wiman’s latest, Zero At The Bone. And the last paragraph of page 1 already has me stunned. Excited for this one!

40! 🥳I’m genuinely happy to arrive at 40 today, & I have so much hope for my next decade. I’ve reflected a lot lately. And tho I’m still a work in progress, I’m giving myself space to say: I’m really proud of who I am, how I’ve grown, & the tender-hearted partner, friend & leader I’ve matured to be.

Celebrate with me! For the last run of my 30s today, I ran the same 10k I first ran ten years ago when I got back into running. Really beautiful full circle moment as part of marking my 40th birthday. Long way from a PR, but I’m very happy with my effort and my time!

2. Embraced doggy day care pickup and drop off after my partner started a new job and became an expert in loading the dog into her backpack for our bike rides. Loving the time together. ☺️

Had a lovely afternoon on our bikes. Saw a friend play an acoustic set, and stopped by Cambridge Arts Fest to listen to some jazz. And just before this pic Helly literally said ACAB by growling at a State Trooper who wanted to pet her, so she definitely earned this treat. 😂 @lynnae.bsky.social
