4⭐️ Peter O’Toole is magnificent. The score is ungodly, the landscapes sing, the plot is sharp and it’s shot with the eye of an angel… The brownface just sucks to fucking look at. I can’t just shrug at how shitty that was, so it’s not a perfect movie but it can be…beautiful
