What they are overlooking in this article is everywhere these expats are based, provide free or cheap healthcare and transportation because their voters (and unions!) encourage it instead of tax cuts like in the US. apple.news/AqMXhmo3nSBS...

JUST IN: Polls closed in France. Exit polls show surprise: —Left coalition (New Popular Front) projected first. (!) —Far-right (RN) has lost its bid to take power. Anti-RN front appears to have worked very well. —No bloc close to majority. Follow this 🧵 for results and more:

This is incredible news out of France - the left really saved the center's bacon. It has always seemed that the true cordon sanitaire for the center and right in the amnesiac 21st century was not against the far right but the left.

Ironic that two of the best #StarTrek shows are cartoons. Plus the music for #StarTrekProdigy is pretty good. I enjoyed it more than the last two seasons of Discovery and Picard (Strange New Worlds is the best of the live shows). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Tr...

If Biden said something like this it would spell the end of not only his campaign but his current tenure. It's just one of countless examples of insane gibberish from Trump that the press & Democrats are choosing to treat as an immutable part of the electoral landscape rather than a story or issue.

This is the way.
Nothing is stopping every single Democratic elected official and apparatchik from taking the airwaves every single day to articulately and decisively repeat a set of cogent talking points about Trump (ie 45). Nothing. Dem PACs could be slamming him with ads now. Stop whining and do that.

And here it is! #TunbridgeWells goes to the LibDems. First time it's not held by the Tories since something like 1903! I've pointed out before that TW was the only town to vote remain with #BrexitShambles, and 67% of voters voted (national average is 56% I think). #UKElection

Another potential PM kicked out. That’s the 16th cabinet minister gone! Still waiting for the Tunbridge Wells result. #ukelections

I’m a great believer in #media and #newspapers. Up until today I subscribed to four of them. Today however it’s down to 2. I’ve canceled the #NYTimes for a daft piece on not voting without checking if the author voted (he did), then the Post publishes this. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...

Congratulations #WaPost, I’ve been a subscriber since I moved here in 2000, and this sickening piece on Independence Day, means you join the #NYTimes in being canceled. Honestly wonder what the point is supporting #media if they don’t stand for facts or democracy.
Cannot emphasize enough how pathetic these editorial boards are revealing themselves to be.
