I've always been far too scared to ever try foraging for wild mushrooms myself. But at this point, if you eat mushrooms, I'd be very wary of any book not from a reputable publisher, nor would I ever buy any wild harvested mushrooms or trust anyone who gave me any. They can kill you. Horrifically.
