I didn't read the article but I did do a Ctrl+F on NATO and it didn't come up except in the word "senator". I mean this isn't exactly an argument I'm putting any particular weight on but it's just interesting it never came up.

Apparently "draconian" means drafting people down to age 25? So he lost me in the second paragraph.

Draconian really means thugs on the street who paid thousands of dollars to have jobs as recruiters, grabbing any ambulatory man they find in public, stuffing them in to a van, and forcibly transporting them to the front. Also surrounding villages with cop cars and hauling away all the men.

Many, many videos of people being dragged off the streets over a long period of time. Videos put out by the UA government of men trying to flee the country being apprehended and forcibly conscripted. They’re real.

I suddenly get the appeasement analogy that is in Lord of the Rings.
