I'm peeved that the Senate Dems have not made it clear to this criminal that he has to resign immediately. I've even called Durbin's office about this since they are allegedly friends, which does not reflect well on the Senator from Illinois.

The same people who were pushing for big changes to the NJ congressional delegation that led to a total Dem sweep of NJ seats in the House that year were adamantly opposed to entertaining a primary to an indicted senator. NJ seems to have a stunning capacity to cling to crappy pols, and sometimes let them bully their way into holding power. Sort of like the Christie bridge scandal (punishing a Democratic mayor for not endorsing him?🤔)
