Here we see a right wing Twitter account with 1.3 million followers being retweeted by an account with 2.5 million followers calling for conservatives to sabotage the upcoming American election. Musk, BTW, has interacted amicably with these accounts several times.
This would be the same Elon Musk who yesterday proposed that one type of election fraud should be treated as treason, punishable by death. bsky.app/profile/pale...
That Wall Street Silver guy is Canadian, but the Hodge twins are American. Hm, I wonder if there are laws that apply to Americans who promote plans made by foreign actors to sabotage our elections? uspto.report/TM/98100097
I wasn't aware that account is a Canadian guy.
I watched as he went from finance bro/crypto bro posting, to federal reserve conspiracies, to a straight up fascist cheerleader. The fact that it's coming from Canada.
Worse than that, he's talking about criminalising those who oppose the SAVE act, who merely *think* it is not a good idea.
If I remember my Orwell, even Big Brother didn't punish Thought Crimes with an automatic death sentence.
Let me get this straight, Musk is proposing that merely holding an opinion on a particular thing should be punishable by death.
He's literally defining it as a 'thought-crime'.
They do love Orwell, but have no understanding of him.
Well, I can take some comfort in the fact that they think that they would have to take such drastic measures in order to win. Maybe things aren't going so bad for the Democrats after all.
In high school, I knew a kid who was very proud of having got involved in a local campaign. His volunteer duty (as he understood it) was to go around tearing down posters for the other candidate. He thought that's what politics was, and it filled him with glee. Some people go through life like that.
The U.S. right wing knows it cannot win a fair election and must cheat, lie, and steal at every opportunity. They have no electoral strategy because they have no popular ideas. Losers. 👎🏻
I was pretty sure that Musk followed Wall Street Silver (at least when he first acquired Twitter and I looked through who he followed). Does he not anymore?
