*Lore spoilers for Elden Ring DLC, written as vaguely as I can* - - - - - - After finishing the Elden Ring DLC and learning about the Shaman folk's odd skin ability, the practice of grafting in the game's lore makes a LOT more sense now.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard has yet to release an album in 2024 and we're already 7 months in the year. I suspect all 6 band members died in a freak keyboarding accident. The last word uttered from the wreckage, a somber but sharp "woo!" could be heard.

Has anyone tried yelling "SCROTUS" at the judges until they cry?

I cannot overemphasize enough how, whenever an app or a website or a browser or any other piece of tech proudly announces that it has AI, my desire to use it not only plummets, but I yearn for a button to smash that causes the person responsible to be cartoonishly slapped in the face with a fish

I love those corkscrew pillars, I don't know why, but they're rad as hell. Belurat, a nearby dungeon is themed around this corkscrew design and it looks great!

Shocking absolutely no one, the Elden Ring DLC is breathtaking, from the first shot to the sheer amount of content for an expansion, it's top notch. Got the backhand swords and found a funny easter egg NPC. For those who know, is it the first American character reference in a FROMsoft game?

The Bill Hicks Marketing monologue, but for shareholders

Played the demo for Rise of the Golden Idol, the sequel to an amazing detective game. Here are my thoughts: - So far the story is very intriguing and puzzles are on par with the first game. - the art style looks like placeholder art for the first game. So does the UI. 1/2

Prototyping a new game I'm working on while I wait for all my job application rejections. I'm taking my time, but it's really fun to do a personal project at your own pace. I'm trying to do a drawing game that involves tracing accurately. I'm more used to puzzle crafting so this is a fun challenge!

applying for jobs cons: -takes time and energy -an exercise in utter futility -applications go directly into a big hole that nobody ever looks in pros: -possibility of making money for someone else in exchange for a smaller amount of money for yourself after a month of interviews, tests, etc.

Phil Spencer claiming that he needs to shut down studios in order to run a sustainable business is a laughable claim following the massive purchases of publishers and said studios to the tune of billions of dollars. Surely NOT making gigantic purchases would have also been sustainable, I think.
