If you're in a restaurant with an autistic trans person and they are stimming and look stressed please DON'T POINT IT OUT or make a big deal of it. Don't sit there asking why they're stressed or pick apart their ticks or tell them to stop worrying etc. Just let them use their own coping mechanisms

It's kind of the job of the youth to think everyone older them is uncool, stop giving a shit, the burden of worrying about cool is lifted from you around 30.

Some Millennials in my timeline are insecure because Gen Zs are telling them their ankle socks age them. I can't stress enough that you don't need to care about what a bunch of 20-somethings think about your clothes, mainly bc you don't have to care about what ANYONE thinks about your clothes.
