Still puzzled by the NYT/Siena poll that has Biden and Trump tied among people who voted in 2020 but Trump leading 2 to 1 among people who didn't - keeping in mind that 2020 was the highest turnout election (% of voting eligible populace) since 1900 when women couldn't vote and Jim Crow was law

Exceptionally funny that Starmer got Labour 6.5 percentage points less of the vote and 3.2 million fewer votes than Corbyn got them in 2017 and Starmer gets an historic majority and Corbyn had to run to retain his own seat as an independent. First past the post systems are so ridiculous.

Labour came in 3rd in Galloway but jumped 16 points

I am sure that Trump doesn't actually believe in God but he represents the kooky Earth is 6,000 years old people. Keir Starmer is an avowed atheist and just swept into power in the UK. Hard to imagine an American President who was both privately and publicly an atheist.

Total bloodbath of the SNP by Labour tonight. Absolute wipeout in the central belt. Zero seats in Glesga and Edinburgh. They are lucky to have held on in Aberdeen and especially Dundee (by less than 2 points)

Holy shit Labour jumped 23 points in Arbroath and the Lib Dems got 50% of the vote in Caithness
