I don’t quite understand how elections work in Parliamentary countries but in America, we just have the same people run over and over again forever every four years on the same date but, and this is important, the campaigning and discussion never ends and is nonstop and impossible to avoid anyway.

I just heard that the NYT @nytimes.com has mentioned Biden’s age 192 times in the last week and Project 2025 6 times. If that doesn’t tell you the Grey Lady has gone fascist I don’t know what does.

I have about 50 hours in Elden Ring. Never beat the original, and I generally really suck at the game but I have fun exploring around with my cheesy Astrologer. But I find the story so inscrutable that every time I read a “spoiler” I have no idea what or whom they are talking about.

Everyone is always afraid to say why people like Trump or Marie Le Pen have some level of popularity and it’s just that there’s a lot of people in the world who believe in racism. You end up with these goofy ass explanations for Trump where it’s NAFTA or shit and it’s like no you know what it is

Time to watch this week’s episode of “House of Horrible Assholes Being Horrible to Each Other”. For those who don’t know that’s a spinoff of “Game of Assholes”.

I have survived this awful week, barely. Only one thing left to do…

This week has defeated me. You win, this week. I lost a pet I loved (way, way too soon), I’ve had a migraine for days, deeper anxiety than usual, and all this has triggered a depression episode. I don’t usually like to post “personal” stuff like this but I feel so lost and empty and tired.

Watched Furiosa last night and loved it. Most of the movie I was like “Chris Hemsworth has such a fake Australian accent, it’s hilarious”. Then I looked him up and apparently he’s Australian.

An hour into “Still Wakes the Deep” and loving it. “Oil rig in 1975 off the coast of Scotland” is a great setting for horror.
