Velociraptors probably did not hunt in packs to take down larger prey, as JURASSIC PARK says and early paleontologists once believed. Since dinosaurs evolved into birds - all of whom are solitary hunters - 'raptor claw and bite marks found on fossils of larger dinos were likely picking at carrion.

Most people probably know this, I guess, but dinosaurs aren't "extinct". There are particular species that left no living descendants following the K–Pg impact 66 million years ago, but in a strict phylogenetic sense, modern birds are living dinosaurs, descended from multiple surviving lineages.

"Odds" and "probability" are not the same thing. You can convert from one to the other, like you can feet and centimetres, but you need to specify which one you're using to express a measurement of chance.

The asteroid belt is not a closely packed chaotic jumble of flying rocks like you saw in Star Wars. All the asteroids in our solar system are so far apart from each other that if you stood on one, you would not be able to see another with the naked eye.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel confirms that a Columbus, Ohio, police officer detailed to the RNC shot and killed a homeless Black man (earlier reported to be in his early 20s) more than half a mile from the RNC arena. The man was known by the nickname Jehovah and took care of a pit bull named Isis.

Literally every corporation at Pride will find a way to make a profit off our bones if the government tommorow declared that trans people needed to be collected and incarcerated for the safety of children, society, and the human race. Target would sell tee shirts about it.

Think about how our for-profit prisons are literally the end result of trying to get money to lock people and barely keep them alive. Think of how IBM got a lot of money to make a people spring algorithm for the Nazis, how Henry Ford sold cars to the Nazis. Google would sell us all for a dollar.

I am begging people to block and report transphobes and racists instead of screenshotting them and showing them off to everyone like a weird bug they found by the roadside.

You can wash cast iron with soap. The seasoning will be perfectly fine. Soap used to contain lye which would strip the polymerization. It doesn't anymore. Nonetheless it's a very pervasive myth that you can't use soap with cast iron.
