When “the worst moment of your life” is everyone finding out you have routinely used subordinates to fulfill your pervy masturbation kinks, and everyone gets grossed out and loses interest, it’s not about your worst moment. You simply can pinpoint the moment when you stopped getting away with shit.
Not to diminish this latest horrible statement, but I got in an argument with a friend last night because I said Bill Maher is an act, a character, that chases controversy to stay relevant. It seems obvious to me. He certainly hasn't been a funny comedian in 25+ years.
Lemme get this straight. Louis CK's "worst moment" is the countless number of times he took his dick out while talking to female coworkers. That ... moment.
Not sure how this question relates to Louis CK or Woody Allen. I'm pretty sure *their* worst moment was the moment they had consequences for the thing they enjoyed doing that *made* someone else's worst moment.
I mean.... Louis C.K. assaulted women several times, got called out, apologized, and now doesn't get as much publicity as before. He never got sued, criminally prosecuted, or had to pay a settlement. He's still absurdly rich. It seems like he doesn't have to live by the worst moment he ever had.
Woody Allen has suffered some consequences (lost custody of his kids and had to pay some compensation)... but in any case he's 88 years old and still making movies so I'd say he's doing ok.
