Zero... on... antitrust. Those are definitely words that you could string together and put out in front of a world that might possibly judge you on them. But _should_ you? I believe not.

Like, I personally think that Lina Khan's FTC has been operating waaaay over its own skis, and that her attempt to apply the Potter Stewart definition to monopolies rather than any of the classic ones is bad tactics _and_ terrible strategy, but you cannot plausibly accuse them of treading softly.

So much of political commentary is finding out who isn't actually paying attention

My entire job is infrastructure and transitioning to renewables and I am dumbfounded that she erased the IRA and IIJA, the largest climate and infra bills in history in any country

Biden’s economy is such a disaster, I can hardly even make a living out here writing about… food. That other people make.

She has such a terrible case of NY Pundit brain

Ugh I blocked. 5 will get you 10 she hates falafel.

Buncha killjoys around here. I mean sure, lying about Biden for clout is a tradition around here, but ya gotta lie about stuff that can't easily be falsified, like his personal feelings about Palestinians or whether he has a plan for X contingency.

She inevitably got pushback and reacted like a very adult person

And then defended herself by giving her definition of what "batting zero" meant

I mean, I DO think he's amazing and I WOULD kiss him on his beautiful face. (I also still think he should drop out.) (I contain multitudes.)

You are a land of contrasts

And I mean sure, some of this stuff has massively disappointed me too, and I understand her frustration. I've spent most of the last year mad at him for many of the same things I see other folks mention. But I'm sorry, batting zero means what it means and knowing that doesn't make me a pedant

I feel like a real bitch for taking screen caps but it's so rare for me to actually be online to see these things happening in real time. Dinner was late because I was transfixed

It's hard to look away from a train wreck

Man on any of those issues, including the ones where Biden isn't good, Biden is miles ahead of Trump.

I think she needs to be tested for cognitive impairment.

Wow. The New Yorker’s food writer and editor has elevated opinions on the election. Go figure.

Watching people who fancy themselves very smart about politics endlessly complain about having to join coalitions of people with different interests than theirs in order to have enough votes to win and therefore not getting everything they want, ie literally what politics is and how it works. Again.

🤮 What a disgusting, ungrateful post that was.

Crossing the line between uninformed and unhinged

I blocked her a long while back.

She should stick to food writing. I guess. She apparently vouches for canned baked potatoes, because baking potatoes for yourself, I guess, is just too hard.
Avatar
My dad and I once tried canned potatoes while camping. They were terrible, the dog wouldn't eat them, and they wouldn't burn in the fire.

I forget why I had her blocked on the hellsite before this but clearly she does shit like this somewhat regularly.
