I have no idea the best path re Biden but I do know a solid week straight of “Biden Old” and “Rich Dems Worried” above-the-fold stories are *obscene* in the face of SCOTUS using the Constitution to wipe their asses purely in the service of reinstating a felon rapist as president. Crazy-making shit.

Keeping Trump out of the White House isn’t the only thing that needs doing and it isn’t enough to solve all problems facing the country & world but if it isn’t done then all those problems get exponentially worse in ways I don’t even know how to express and it scares me when people pretend otherwise

Just picked up Far Cry 5 on the steam summer sale because it's one of those franchises I'd always meant to check out. Went to download it and found Far Cry 3 in my library already.

Even for those who currently have no medical vulnerabilities, or who don’t mask regularly, wearing a mask should be as simple as using an umbrella when it rains or a bandage when you’re bleeding. You can protect yourself from flu season or smoke, or others from your cold. Easy, practical, courteous.

UBI is not about giving free money to the poor. UBI is about creating a social structure so that your life and the lives of your loved ones won't be destroyed if misfortune should befall you. THIS is the framing that needs to be used.

We cannot agree to disagree when your politics strip rights, bodily autonomy, dignity from me and the people I love. In that instance, you've decided me and my people are the eggs to break for your 401k/gun lobby/pro police omelet. You are a threat and should be treated like one.

The person who used to own our house used a lot of pesticides in the garden. Last year there was a caterpillar boom and lots of plants got eaten to the root. I let those caterpillars feast away, even planting more of what they liked & was repaid with a garden full of butterflies. #InverteFest
Some more older art from my archives for #Invertefest while I work on something new and really nice. 👀 Today I've been sharing meaningful bug encounters in my life like bees I've given water to, paper wasps I befriended, and a curious dragonfly that frequented my yard when I was a kid.

Look, if the cops didn’t wear face masks, then they could be identified and they and their families could be in danger from other philosophy professors taking revenge.

Bill Barr is the only person (AFAIK) who is wealthy, essentially retired (thus no career concerns), very intelligent and educated, experienced in government, and a repeated personal witness to Trump’s behavior, about which he is brutally honest… who still supports him.

Exactly, these ghouls spent years defending racists and transphobes by saying that it had nothing to do with the content of their speech, they simply had a content-neutral dedication to free expression. They were lying! They agreed with the far-right views and were too chickenshit to say so.
I find hypocrisy to be a very boring accusation - hypocrisy is the human condition! But it is hard not to be impressed by the swiftness with which some free speech warriors/snowflake scolders have switched sides.

They can't even deny they did it. They'll come up with a convoluted explanation for why they did it but the simplest answer is quite clearly that they intended to starve the people of North Gaza until they leave so the area can be annexed. Every IDF action fits that hypothesis
