brushing your teeth in the bathroom at work should be an instant jail sentence
Avatar
Uh.. I do this at work sometimes after lunch.

i will caveat this by saying if it’s a private bathroom; totally permissible. if you can pull it off without anyone being in there with you, also permissible

i’m explaining the dogmatic approach to brushing teeth at work, terra

i missed the explanation!

Wait until you find out what people do in the work toilets.

where else you gonna brush your teeth at work, turbo

Let's compromise: You're allowed to brush your teeth in That One Bathroom. However, all bathroom conversations now get a firing squad

There is literally nothing in the world worse than when you're about to drop a shit and then 4 guys walk in loudly talking about golf

I had to use this special mouthwash several times a day after I had gum surgery. even having to do that in the work bathroom made me feel dirty

Gotta try to get rid of the weed smell before you enter the workplace. 😋

lol ok fair but you’re still going to jail

Counterpoint, as a cavity-prone kid I longed for a job where I could brush my teeth after lunch.
Avatar
you, and others are saying this, so i don’t blame you *as much*
Avatar
Counter-counterpoint: I have an office job and still don’t do it.
Avatar
counter-counter-counterpoint: if no one sees you or it’s a private bathroom you’re allowed
Avatar
Ok but where do I brush my teeth after lunch then?
Avatar
Use mouthwash and continue your day. You're not supposed to brush more than twice a day, brushing too much causes damage to your gums and enamel.
Avatar
It's true. I knew a guy that was and over brusher and was having problems with his gums. He thought it was an issue of him not brushing enough, so he brushed more, and harder, to make sure everything was spotless. When he went to a dentist, they told him he was brushing too much and should back off.
Avatar
These kinds of stories give me more anxiety and make me want to floss to the point of bleeding 😬
Avatar
Sorry, but yes, you can also floss too much. Once a day is all you really need unless you're getting something out that is stuck between your teeth. Disclaimer: I'm not a dentist.
Avatar
Yes, I know these things, but will go home and stare at the flaws in my teeth for two hours now
Avatar
My tooth-related anxiety may not agree
Avatar
Fair, extenuating factor.
Avatar
You want people to go home to brush their teeth after lunch??
Avatar
There is no world in which I'm exposing something that goes IN MY MOUTH to public restroom air. What is wrong with people?? 🤢
Avatar
🫣👀😷 i tend to agree, but many others do not
Avatar
So I see 😅 I wouldn't have thought this was so controversial. (Not to mention the ADA recommends brushing twice a day to avoid tooth abrasion, so three times a day isn't actually better oral health 🤪 but that's between the bathroom brushers and their dentists.)
Avatar
Bad news- every job I’ve worked for 30 years, ppl shave and leave their hair all on the sink It’s fucking repulsive
