Can we start treating this "You have less than six months" refrain from neo-Nazis and far-right extremists as anything other than open death threats? It's out of control
Biden could literally fix this right now, and perhaps set us on a better future path. But nope. He is stuck in 1971 and these are just partisan disagreements amongst friends.
Stay safe, Will. I greatly respect your thoughtfulness. And, yeah, the threats have been obviously real for a while now and they have been moving from high-profile leaders down to smaller individuals for a long time. It's the kind of thing Chaya has been honing.
Twitter is fascist owned. It's free to delete your account there. Reporting this to people on BlueSky isn't going to stop them. Start treating it like you are a fascists play thing and part of their product they use to collect revenue from advertisers who think it might be worth remaining there.
Years ago I received death threats over an incident at work. I applied for a concealed handgun permit the next day. I stopped carrying after leaving that job, but hearing this kind of rhetoric directed at anyone left of Mussolini (while living in a reddish area) has me thinking I should start again.
