i'm putting together a newsletter with corresponding infographics featuring parts of project 2025 that will resonate with specific types of people. so far I have: teachers, porn viewers, parents, union members, environmentalists. who else should I add?
Random thought, but I love this, uh... OC culture, or whatever to call it, among artists. I love that it's such a big thing that games like Art Fight is a thing. We're all just making up funny little guys in our heads and then we draw each other's funny little guys. I just love that.
The simmering rage against tech is partly because what they are doing is impeding the really cool shit that happens online. The internet rocks, I have made incredible friendships online that have lasted 15+ years, built a business, made art, and I hate how badly they've hurt being online.
Instead of supporting trans people by harassing strangers, support trans people by supporting trans people. For instance, buying their books and reading their stories. Hey look, a thread!
On that note:
Trans authors (I mean authors who are trans, NOT cis people who write about trans people), drop your book links here and I'll try to repost as many as I can throughout the day.
Cis people: Repost trans authors' book links.
Cis people who want to complain about being excluded: gtfo
#WIPWednesday • I’m very close to finishing this winter #SciArt#mitosis#embroidery! Another hour or so of stitching and then I’ll start on the summer one. 🧶🧪🐡🩺
I don’t have any way to prove it but I have a feeling that comics are somehow healthy for your mental wellbeing

I used to get actively harrassed by randos online telling me my comic needed to be in color >__<
There's a lot of "you should do" when it comes to comics, and I've found just making the comic in a way that makes you enjoy making it is the way to go ❤️
The other Western indie comic killer is the expectation that
A) to stand out your comic must be in colour and
B) you can’t sell your comic until you have 300 page library omnibus editions ready to go
ask a millenial to tell you about the days of napster and limewire and next thing you know they're in a rocking chair with a corncob pipe on a big wooden porch

They pay for their videos to run as Twitter ads so people don't get real ads

Hi #PortfolioDay! I'm Kody, a cartoonist who loves queer narratives in subcultures that were hostile to such experiences, like pro-wrestling & punk scenes.
I'm launching a webcomic, KEEPING TIME, about a tragic romance between bandmates during the 00s!
Looking for cover work & smaller int. jobs.
Hey hey #PortfolioDay! I’m Libby, I illustrate and work in comics! I’m known for being a Doctor Who freak, but, that’s a good jump-off point for drawing whatever I like! If you have a paid project and think I might be a good fit, dm me!
