It’s good to vent. But we have to focus and channel our energy towards November. All this infighting and squabbling is a gift to the Trump campaign. I still believe in the America that rejected Trump in Nov. 2020. They will reject Trump again in November. Strike first. Strike Hard. No Mercy!

Trump gets pissed off at a country because they won’t help him with his election for a third term. In a fit of rage, he nukes them. “Hey, I have immunity! I’m acting in an official capacity!”

The arc of the moral universe is pretty damn long. I hope we swing back towards justice and not flying off a cliff. Can’t tell at this point.

With the stated intent to engage in a massive deportation roundup, the option to use the Insurrection Act, and SCOTUS-bestowed immunity, I think it's worth noting how fast the total Trump takeover will occur. Weeks. That's it.

This often gets raised in the context of political retribution when the more obvious concern is civil society, protest groups, abortion providers, trans care providers, anyone "harboring" undocumented people. If you want to know how Trump will use DoJ just look to Ken Paxton in TX.

There is no choice left but except publicly criticizing the Supreme Court at this point. Playing nice gets nowhere. Trump constantly attacks the judicial system —- “Obama Judges blah blah” let’s call out the “Trump Judges.”

Biggest campaign story ever: using a private email server that could hold top secrets but doesn’t and could be breached but wasn’t. Tiny story: stealing top secrets. Hiding them in a bathroom. Taking them to NJ. Showing them to foreigners. Meeting with foreign governments.

I hope the Supreme Court Justices had a chance to watch Alex Garland’s “Civil War”. Although Alito and Thomas probably supported the fictional President in the film.

If the Supreme Court says US Presidents have absolute immunity -—Biden should definitely take advantage.
