it's true... a corrupt, deviant failed business man/quasi tv celebrity is the R candidate and the press are up to their armpits in suggestions/recommendations/ fake speculation about replacing the D candidate. The incumbent. The winning one. The one who isn't planning fascism. That's where we are.
I can imagine nothing more sad, depressing, and pitiable than a dog aware of his mortality.

The worst part of the "Biden must step down" is the fact that it vigorously undermines the party unity required for him to win. Thr R's observe as we willingly sacrifice our own and look to them for validation of our choice. I detest people.

Seems important idk
Maybe we should be talking about credible allegations of Trump sexually assaulting twelve year olds with the assistance of Epstein!

I have no idea the best path re Biden but I do know a solid week straight of “Biden Old” and “Rich Dems Worried” above-the-fold stories are *obscene* in the face of SCOTUS using the Constitution to wipe their asses purely in the service of reinstating a felon rapist as president. Crazy-making shit.

Here's the article we discuss on the show. In a 6 minute segment, I can't bring the evidence, but it's in here. Chris mentioned that he's heard people mention Project 2025 in the wild. I have, too, and some folks have told me they have, as well. www.salon.com/2024/07/05/p...
Project 2025 was supposed to boost Donald Trump's campaign — but now it may be backfiringwww.salon.com Trump's authoritarian game plan is breaking through to people who haven't heard of it — and it's scaring them

Why I Don't Vote (OK, I Do Vote, but I Would Like to Discourage You, NY Times Reader, For Doing So For Some Reason) Via @bubbaprog.ilovecitr.us
Man, if it turns out that the right winger telling NY Times readers that they should follow his example and not vote did in fact vote in the last two elections, the Times should add this to the piece. Better than a retraction, since it illustrates a willful hypocrisy.

Facebook really hates this post, by the way. Not sure why.
America is not perfect. Far from it. But there are ideals worth fighting for, values worth pursuing, even when we fall short. Don’t abandon it to the totalitarians. https://www.popehat.com/p/the-fourth-of-july

...but not REALLY a surprise.
Suprise: unwashed fascist ghoul Matthew Walther - who wrote a column that the New York Times just published advising Americans not to vote - did in fact vote in 2020 and 2022. It’s time for us to stop tolerating these ratfucking liars.

Read this story and then ponder how many good apples in the police department and prosecutor's office *absolutely knew* who was the real murderer was and conspired to railroad this lady to protect him.
Just a jaw-dropper from the state whose attorney general is currently trying to execute an innocent man. innocenceproject.org/missouri-cir...

Nobody loves that Joe Biden is 81. It would be great if he was 35. But you know what I really dislike? Authoritarianism. So I humbly beseech people to get a goddamn grip.

The 14th Amendment says if you were involved in an insurrection you can't be president. SCOTUS said they won't allow anyone to enforce that because of reasons they made up. The Constitution doesn't say the president is immune from criminal law. SCOTUS decided he is because of reasons they made up.

I can’t believe the Supreme Court just ruled that the president can sleep outdoors in a public space.

Homeless people can be arrested for sleeping, Presidents cannot be arrested for rampant graft and corruption done while in office. There is no clearer a summary of "conservative 'law and order'" than this.

There are MUCH more important implications for the overturning of the Chevron doctrine. But in my aviation world it's gonna be nuts. You have any idea how many hair brained homebuilt aircraft/spacecraft the FAA is keeping grounded? Cuz you're about to find out.

Don't fall for the trap. If Democrats listen to the New York Times and try to replace Biden, the New York Times will have a new narrative: Democrats in chaos. And they will then have 347 stories a week about whoever is the candidate, all focused on how inexperienced and unprepared that person is.

I’d vote for a *literal* potato before a psychopathic anti-American insurrectionist convict, and Dems, if you can’t stand by your man, then shame on you, you cowards.
