Using they/them pronouns when you know someone uses other pronouns is actively misgendering them as much as calling someone with they/them pronouns “he” or “she” is.

Hi, gentle reminder that if you *know* a trans or nonbinary person’s pronouns, and those pronouns *aren’t* they/them, you don’t get, like, partial credit for using they/them pronouns for that person. There are no “all-purpose” pronouns, sadly.

Folks this is pretty much true EVERYWHERE now. If your city plants a tree somewhere, odds are really good that's all they're going to do for it, and if it's getting too hot and dry in Seattle for young trees to survive... Adopt a new tree near you. Give it a milk jug of water once or twice a week.

Seattle friends! Know how the city has been planting saplings to replace trees that have died from heat/drought/age? The city does not actually water them regularly! In this dry heat, a lot of them are dying. Gator bags say they need 15 gal/week. If you see one in distress on your street, adopt it.

Mask bans serve multiple purposes for fascism. They serve pandemic denialism to spread COVID as a bioweapon. They are also specifically intended to target Black & brown people in public legally. They are also intending to prevent protecting ourselves from government & corporate surveillance.

One thing I wish the (white) disabled people upset about mask bans would do more, is acknowledge how those laws are designed to harm Black and brown people first and we're just secondary or collateral targets

Something I wish more artists borrowed from manga: variable gutter sizes. Larger gutters separate row of panels, smaller gutters group panels together. It's such a small thing, but it can dramatically improve readability.
