This afternoon I decided to do yard work instead of my actual job and I regret nothing.

It's such a weird state of being to find out my 8 year relationship was built on deceit, manipulation and gaslighting. Every memory is cast in a new light. Constant realizations of what was actually happening in past interactions. Internally rewriting the entire story.

Me listening to Silver Springs on repeat for the rest of my days.

My ex's podcast co-host posted a statement in support of me. I sobbed for 30 min after I read it. They were the first person directly involved to have my back. To no longer feel alone is such an unbelievable relief.

Outed my ex as a lying unsafe creep on the other place. I was no-contact with him already but it was the last step to truly sever any lingering thread remaining of our 8 year relationship. Now I am just left with trying to piece myself back together from absolute destruction he left in his wake.

I went on an app date last night and got the infamous "you don't look Jewish". Seriously, when will people learn there is no way to say this without it being either anti-Semitic or an insult.
