By and large cops don’t prevent crimes. Instead they’re more like crime janitors.

The ability to abuse power.
They see pets as furniture or accessories.
They don’t hate dogs, but they don’t respect them as living beings. Staunch conservatives have no concept of empathy, everything boils down to “how is this useful to me.” If it’s not useful, it’s disposable.

Small leap from killing a dog after believing that a tiny cluster of cells is a human being that has more rights than a pregnant adult woman. And supporting some psychotic logic that killing the mom still produces a living human being.

Those are the eyes of a man who'se travel patterns correlate to missing persons, I'd suspect.
