This!! Start with “they want to end no fault divorce, sell national parks, and ban porn” end with tax structure.
tom nichols—of all people???—just made a good point: you have to talk about P2025 in simple real people terms. not policy wonk terms.

just took my new wheelchair for a spin around the block w/ my dog (something i could never even dream of doing before) & i am tearing up at how much joy it brought me. it's incredible how just by having access to the right mobility aids, i already feel so much less depressed.
to everyone who took the time to boost & contribute to my mutual aid: this is what y'all got me. a motorized wheelchair to replace my manual one that i could no longer use due to hand paralysis. it's beautiful, it's fast, it's comfortable & it actually holds my oxygen. thank you so fucking much.

Project 2025 is the GOP party platform they've been too afraid to write down since 2020. It is a collection of all their policy positions and plans for remaking America into the upside down, mirror universe version of itself. That's why they don't want you to read it.

So uh... anybody with a bigger megaphone than me want to help a butch out? The Gilbert Baker Foundation & CMG are asking a settlement from us for referring to the Gilbert Baker flag/original color scheme as the "Gilbert Baker flag" of twice what we've ever made from anything with those colors.
Who has two thumbs and got a legal threat from the lawyers for the Gilbert Baker foundation because he gave credit to Gilbert Baker as the creator of the original Pride flag on items that use that colorway? YEP!

Two things can be simultaneously true: 1: Neil Gaiman was targeted and dirt on him sought because he defends trans people, and we should watch out for TERFs seeking dirt on innocent people. 2: Neil Gaiman, specifically, is guilty. Period.

Ah, for fuck's sake. Why, Neil Gaiman? Why can't you have been a better man? This one really hurts, some of his work is genuinely formative for me as a writer. Fuck.

You know, state GOPs are broke or in debt in more states than you realize. Their internal structure is rife with internal election tampering and weirdness ranging from sexual harassers to deep benches of felons. (MI, WA, AZ, CO, MA, GA, MN, NC, AT LEAST) So… the party in disarray gun is aimed wrong.

Mitch McConnell offers an object lesson for all the Republicans who think they can tame this tiger -- even if you do everything in your power to advance Trump's agenda and sabotage two different impeachment trials that would remove him, the Felon Messiah King will still demand your head.
Presidential candidate who the far-right members of the Supreme Court just placed above the law tells voters how he will exercise his new powers.
